Cablespeed are proud to anounce delivery of the 'ALL NEW' MTX-10 Wire Processing Centre recently completed and accepted at the Artos Manufacturing Facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA. Configured specifically for the Panel Building Industry, this unique version of the very successful Artos MTX-10 range can produce a whole wiring harness with nothing more for the operator to do than change the wire when prompted. With the latest Imaje Ink-Jet marker incorporated at the cutter head to minimise wastage, the machine is fitted with two programmable Amtech 2032 Ultrasonic welding stations and four Digital TU-10 Presses. The TU10 press, which accepts most standard mini-applicator tools, is specially designed and built by Artos incorporating automatic crimp height adjustment and full crimp-force analysis ensuring total quality control. This custom built, state of the art MTX-10 features the latest technology with brushless servo motors helping to deliver the wire to any processing station quickly and efficiently for cycle speeds of up to 4500 pieces per hour. “Closed-loop” encoders communicate back to the motors to verify all operations, assuring quality operation.
